Senior Solution Architect (Remote) - Mandarin Fluency Required



About the Role:



Arc is looking for a Senior Solution Architect in APAC to support an innovative real-time technology client. This 6-month contract (with extension potential) involves serving as the technical point of contact for customers—guiding them through integration, scaling, and optimization of real-time features.



You’ll handle technical discovery, PoCs, and post-sales support, working closely with Sales, Customer Success, and Engineering to provide expert guidance, manage escalations via PagerDuty, and ensure a seamless client experience.



Key Responsibilities:




Partner with Sales and Customer Success to align technical solutions with customer needs.
Deliver customized product demonstrations and Proof of Concepts (PoCs).
Provide technical insights on usage, projections, and architecture to support successful implementations.
Respond to RFPs/RFIs with technical input and assist with customer onboarding.
Conduct architectural reviews and offer recommendations on performance and scalability.
Troubleshoot complex issues, coordinating with customer development teams.
Manage escalations for critical technical issues, utilizing PagerDuty as needed.
Develop documentation to support collaboration across Sales, Customer Success, and Engineering.
Relay customer insights to Product Management and Engineering to drive product improvements.



Requirements:




Fluent in English and Mandarin, with strong communication skills.
Proficient in real-time protocols (WebSockets, MQTT), cloud infrastructure, and distributed systems.
Extensive experience in technical support for enterprise customers.
Experience in SaaS or cloud platforms, with both pre-sales and post-sales involvement.
Familiar with messaging systems (e.g., Kafka) and languages such as JavaScript, Objective-C, Java/Kotlin, C#, Go, Ruby, or Python.
Strong ability to prioritize and resolve customer issues.
Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable tackling technical challenges in a dynamic environment



Work Environment: This is a fully remote role, providing flexibility to work from anywhere in the APAC region while collaborating with a talented global team. The position is initially a 6-month contract, with the potential for extension based on project needs.
