WHY WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU



We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Manager to join Tobi to help lead our technical team. As the Technical Manager, you will focus primarily on backend development for our web3 wallet project, while also providing technical guidance to the team. This role requires a deep understanding of blockchain technology, cryptography, and decentralized applications (dApps).



YOU’LL DO




Backend Development: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, leading by example to maintain high standards in development.
Technical Leadership: Provide guidance throughout the software development lifecycle, with a focus on architecture and coding best practices.
Architecture & Design: Design scalable, secure, and high-performance technical solutions, ensuring system reliability.
Web3 Experience: Work with web3 data, APIs, and on-chain smart contracts, applying innovative solutions to integrate blockchain technologies.
Security: Implement robust security practices to protect sensitive user data and funds.
Quality Assurance: Ensure application reliability through comprehensive testing and code reviews.
Research & Innovation: Stay current with advancements in web3 and blockchain technologies, applying new knowledge to enhance the product.
Leadership & Team Management: Lead and mentor a development team, setting high-quality standards and fostering collaboration across cross-functional teams.
Product & User Focus: Understand user requirements and integrate them into technical solutions to improve user experience and satisfaction.
Collaboration & Mentorship: Collaborate effectively with product managers, designers, and engineers; mentor junior developers to support their growth.



REQUIREMENTS



Technical Skills / Experience:

5+ years in software development, with at least 2 years in a technical leadership role.
Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript, Solidity, Rust, and frameworks like React.js or Angular.js.
Experience in web3 backend development (blockchain experience is a plus).
Familiar with web3 data/APIs, smart contracts, and dApp integration.
Strong background in backend infrastructure (cloud, server deployments, DevOps).
Bonus: AI experience and familiarity with MPC technology, cryptocurrency wallets, or financial tech.



Soft Skills / Experience:

Strong leadership ability, with experience managing and inspiring teams.
Excellent communication skills in English, able to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
User-centric mindset, with the ability to translate user needs into technical solutions.
Experience in high-quality development processes and practices.
