Job Title: Tech Co-founder/CTO - Mobile Application Development

Location: Singapore ONLY

About Us: TheCS.io is Singapore startup. We are an innovative coliving startup that’s reshaping the urban living experience. We’re leveraging technology to create smart, sustainable, and community-driven living spaces for the modern urbanite.

The Opportunity: We’re on the hunt for a Tech Co-founder/CTO who is not just adept at coding but is also passionate about building technology that makes a difference. Your primary role will be to spearhead the development of our mobile application, which will serve as the central hub for our residents’ coliving experience.

What You’ll Do:
●        Lead the creation, Hands-on Development and Launch of our mobile application from the ground up.

●        Collaborate with the founding team to align the app’s development with our business goals and user needs.

●        Plan for and in future build and manage a tech team to develop a robust, intuitive, and feature-rich mobile application.

●        Stay abreast of the latest trends in mobile technology and suggest innovative features to keep us ahead of the curve.

●        Oversee the app’s maintenance, updates, and iterations based on user feedback and analytics.

●        A visionary technologist with a track record of developing and launching successful mobile applications.

●        A leader who can inspire and manage a team of developers.

●        Someone with a deep understanding of mobile app architecture, design, and development.

●        Proficient in cross-platform mobile development frameworks to ensure our app is accessible on all devices.

●        A problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

●        Creative and able to work with limited resources in a highly competitive startup environment.

Qualifications/ Requirements:
●        Proven experience of at least 6 years in mobile application development, with a portfolio of launched apps.

●        Expert knowledge of programming languages like Swift, Kotlin, and JavaScript, Flutter, React Native.

●        Familiarity with mobile app design principles and the latest industry trends.

●        Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

●        Previous experience in a startup or scaleup environment building a new mobile application from ground up.

●        Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)

●        Experience working with and integrating third-party tools and SaaS platforms (Good to have)

●        Familiarity with database systems (SQL, NoSQL)

●        Proven ability to efficiently manage all aspects of the software development life cycle, including successfully managing distributed teams

●        Solid understanding of backend technologies, including server-side languages (e.g., Node.js, Python, Ruby) and API integration

●        Entrepreneurs with lesser experience but have the right skillsets and motivations may apply as well.

Compensation:
●        Do note this is more of a ESOP/ Equity role rather than a salary focused role for now.

●        A competitive equity package (ESOP) with considerable ownership potential.

●        A very low base mthly salary (SGD$500-$800) as the company is in an early startup stage with the promise of growth as the company scales
