Director of Backend Engineering

About the jobWe are looking to hire for one of our ecosystem projects. Our client, a leading digital assets ecosystem globally, is in search of an experienced Director of Backend Engineering.

In This Role, You Will



Collaborate with the CTO to develop and execute the technical strategy, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives and long-term vision.
Oversee the technology team, including recruitment, training, and performance management, to inspire high levels of productivity.
Guide the product development process, ensuring innovation, quality, and timely delivery.
Maintain the stability, security, and scalability of the technology infrastructure while managing associated risks.
Work closely with product management, sales, and customer support to ensure technology meets business requirements.


You Might Thrive In This Role If You Have



A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
At least 10 years of experience in technical management, including overseeing multiple teams, with over 3 years in trading system projects.
A global perspective and strong cross-cultural communication skills, capable of managing teams across various locations, with proficiency in English.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking, adept at formulating long-term strategies in a dynamic environment.
Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate team members toward shared goals.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration at all organizational levels.
Proficiency in architectural design and problem resolution, able to assist the team with specific challenges as needed.
