One of our companies is currently looking for a Service Reliability Engineer in Singapore, Philippines, Vietnam, India, or Malaysia.
As a Service Reliability Engineer, your primary mission is to ensure the stability, performance, and scalability of the company's systems and services. You will serve as the highest level of technical escalation within the support team, working closely with product, tech, and data teams to resolve complex issues. Your role will involve providing technical support, troubleshooting, resolving system issues, and contributing to continuous improvement efforts. You will help ensure minimal downtime, a seamless customer experience, and drive innovation across the organization.
Accountabilities:
Serve as the highest level of technical escalation for complex technical issues that cannot be resolved by frontline support
Collaborate with product, tech, and data teams to reproduce and resolve issues effectively
Provide technical support via channels like Zendesk, JIRA, and phone to both internal stakeholders and external clients
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in cloud infrastructure, servers, and databases, ensuring consistent service availability
Update internal systems and knowledge bases, contributing to improved self-service and support workflows
Develop and deploy code fixes to enhance system functionality and address technical issues
Maintain high standards of service reliability and performance across all systems
Requirements
A strong academic foundation, ideally from reputable universities
At least 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer with a proven track record of resolving complex system issues
Familiarity with JavaScript tech stack (Node, NestJS, React, Vue) and experience working with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and MySQL
Expertise in working with cloud platforms such as AWS and proficiency in Bitbucket and GitHub (CI/CD processes)
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with the ability to diagnose and solve complex technical problems
Experience in providing customer-facing technical support and exhibiting customer attentiveness
Proficiency in reading logs, especially using tools like Splunk, and an understanding of load testing tools
A collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and drive outcomes in a fast-paced environment
